"I'm always a little skeptical about fundraisers. How much work do the students and I have to do; how much effort and time is this going to take? Last year was the first year we tried selling bulbs with Spring Garden, and I was shocked as to how easy and simple the whole process was. What I loved about the program is that everything was shipped directly to the customers, so I knew that the customers received their products. The students loved not having to lug all their boxes around to be delivered. I also love that the company offers a "Lifetime Guarantee" on their product. I don't know of any other company who offers that kind of service on their product, even after years of bulbs being planted. How can a company stay in business who offers a deal like this? I don't know, but I do know that I'll respect a company like that, who stands behind their product. I told the students today that we were going to do this fundraiser again this year because I believed in it, and that I would not make them or ask them to do anything that I didn't believe in or think was right. This fundraiser has been the easiest, and possibly one of the best and quickest money-makers of all the fundraisers we do year-round. I even had a student who was one of my top sellers last year, ask me if he could get one of the fundraising envelopes, before I even had a chance to explain it to our group. As soon as he saw the bulb catelog, he knew what it was and wanted to do it again. He said that his family enjoyed all of their bulbs this past spring from the ones he sold to them the previous Fall.
I am no longer skeptical about THIS fundraiser. I plan to use Spring Garden Bulbs as an annual fundraiser. This is a quality product from a quality company, allowing schools to make a generous profit to benefit students and their activities." - Barb
